The Avett Brothers - "November Blue"

Hey, it's me....been a while hasn't it? Over a year, in fact, since I've posted a tune to this blog. I suppose you could say I'm back, for the time being, but the format will not be every Friday as it was in the past (keep your applause to a minimum please). I've changed the blog name to reflect that this will be a 'whenever-I-feel-like-it' posting time table moving forward. And what do you know? I feel like it!

The reason for today's post is this "November Blue" song has been loudly rattling around inside my head for about 4 months and, thank goodness, I can't seem to kick it out. Now I'm going to throw it on you.  It comes from North Carolina's Avett Brothers. This song was from their very first full length record called 'Country Was' which was released back in 2002. This band had been relatively prolific as they have 4 EP's, 7 full length albums and 3 live albums since their first record was released in 2000. Each of their last three albums has climbed further up the charts than it's predecessor, reaching #134, #16 and then #4 with their 2012 album "The Carpenter." I appreciate their entire repertoire and right now, The Avett Brothers have moved right to the top of my 'must see' list of bands.

Turn it up and ENJOY!
